Since 2004 the ‚Steinbeis Research Center for Medical Devices and Biotechnology‘ (Steinbeis MBT) is actively supporting high tech – and biotech startups and SME.
The Steinbeis Brand itself stands for the successful transfer and sharing of know-how and technology for more than 30 years building made-to-last bridges between the sources of knowledge and the respective areas of application.
Steinbeis MBT’s is focussed on the tangible benefit for our clients, acting as problem solver and service provider offering consultancy, research & development support, training & seminars, and the subsequent continuous professional development required. For the client’s success!
Vision
We are part of the overall Steinbeis Network’s Vision and self-definition:
Today, Steinbeis is an international network (roughly 1,100 transfer enterprises) with around 5,500 experts, contributing to our network with their specialist knowledge and working on individual challenges in interdisciplinary teams to genuinely add value and thus facilitate the success of Steinbeis – that’s what made us one of the world’s most successful providers of know-how and technology transfer. And this is our, Steinbeis MBT’s commitment based on cooperation and continuous improvement.
Mission
Our mission in the fields of medical devices and biotechnology is fueled by two sources:
- The vision outlines our key words: Central to all projects Steinbeis MBT works is the success of our clients, co-workers and partners.
- The notion that many highly promising projects struggle with break down in the final phases when clinical tests are due and regulatory requirements are not fulfilled in time due to insufficient preparatory works. Missing RA requirement understanding and a lack of supporting expertise is quite often the reason. We help to avoid such setbacks.
